Swimming Program
Swimming is another activity that is included in the course of study at Belfry International School. It is an important life skill that every child should have. Swimming is offered from Nursery level (between the ages of 2-3 years) onwards. The students will learn buoyancy skills, swimming strokes and various postures with a hierarchical development.
Cooking Club
Belfry International School promotes cooking classes in various forms. Baking and cooking are important life skills that foster creativity and nurture cognitive development which includes problem-solving skills, learning textures, colors, and shapes, following instructions, measuring, counting, learning cause-and-effect and stimulating the five senses.
Canteen
Belfry International School features a unique and highly functional dining area, where a nice, cool breeze can be enjoyed at mealtime. The canteen is also designed to keep the students dry during wet and rainy seasons, as it has barriers that can be closed and pulled down for safety.
All Day Playground
Belfry International School prides itself on the playground ambience it provides. We have in mind that our young learners are innately active, so getting a sufficient amount of sunlight and some fresh air is beneficial to their bones and immune system. That is why we laid out a playground that gives both the warmth and the breeze our students need for their active outdoor plays.
Montessori Classroom
Montessori classroom is designed to meet the needs of children in different age groups. They are furnished with sensorial apparatus to develop practical life skills, math and critical thinking aptitude, and Phonics skills. The children are carefully observed and led to be creative and innovative in learning as they develop their five senses.
Learning Environment
A ‘learning environment’ is the learning culture as well as the physical surroundings created by teachers and pupils. It can be in the school building(s) but also outdoors, online, and away from school.
